NOTD: Barry M Gelly in Green Berry

This is how my nails look today after my friends Becky and Jeni adorned me with belated birthday gifts last night, this nail paint being one of many lovely things they got me. They're not the neatest (sorry! I promise I'll tidy them up before I go out tonight!) but I love the "hi-shine" finish and they feel like they're going to be much more durable than usual Barry M nail paints which I find a little thin. The colour is true to what you see in the bottle after two coats although some nails had to have three as with most pastel nail polishes, it can be a little streaky to apply.
UPDATE: These survived a night out with only one tiny chip (no top coat) which is not something I'm used to with Barry M to be honest, rather impressed!

On a slightly unrelated note, here's a picture of my new little rubber
duck friend in my bath this morning which also featured a
Lush bubble bar slice called "Pop in the Bath"
which was well, lush... (also gifts from last night) :)

  1. Love this colour. Also I completely know what you mean about Barry M polishes being quite thin, mine don't last on my nails long.

    Great blog now following.

    1. This seems to be lasting well so far but I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that about Barry M - such a shame since all the colours are amazing!

      Thanks, followed you back :)

  2. Do you want to see a perfect dupe for this colour? I've applied China Glaze in Four Leaf Clover. It looks nothing like this colour in reality, nor do they look alike on google images. Clover is a lot greener. But when I took pictures, they look exactly alike :( See for yourelf: http://mybeautyjunction.blogspot.in/2013/02/nail-trail-china-glaze-four-leaf-clover.html
